If you had to choose 2 melee weapons / knifes , 1 sidearm , and 1 primary weapon for a world disaster such as ww3 , or a zombie outbreak , or for like a self survival if the world is getting destroyed , kinda off topic but im just curious what would be your load out , mine would be my machete , my benchmade model 42 and my 45 , and my m16 , what is yours?

I'd build a set of gauntlets that I designed for one of my graphic novel characters, nice combination of leather, metal and wrist bracings. I can't shoot worth a damn so I'm not sure I'd bother with guns...well, I guess it'd be a case of learn or perish eh?

If I have to pick from my current arsenal, a Kabar Heavy Bowie, an Izula, and a PPQ. I don't currently have any long weapons. I guess I could also take my .22 for hunting small game.
If I didn't have to pick from current weapons and could pick any weapon I wanted, I'd take a large option from Busse Combat, a nice necker from Busse or Fehrman, a Glock 30 Gen 4 once they finally come out, and a nice bolt action rifle with optic, perhaps a Savage in .30-06 with an accu-trigger.

In some kind of disaster, I'm going to be more concerned with food than cappin' fools. A good rifle and optic is a versatile tool. No need for a big, heavy AA-12.

Best to stick with the weapon you are most familiar with. For a huge disaster where I would need to arm myself, I would prefer to carry a generic 5.56 weapon that is standard issue in the US military. Basically an M-16 or M-4 (preferably M4).
For my melee weapons, I would prefer a collapsible shovel due to its use as a weapon and a tool. Aluminum bat sounds like a good melee weapon for a zombie apocalypse.
I won't be too picky about side arms. Anything magazine fed, no revolver types. 9mm are standard in the US military (M9 beretta to be exact), so I would pick that due to more likeliness of finding ammo. Not a real fan of Beretta, so I would go for a SIG Sauer. A suppressor for it would be great for more stealthier situations, especially with today's zombies being attracted to loud noises.

End of the World - Humans, War on our Soil Muelay (r) Knife - Purchased in Greece, nearly ten inches of blade, similar in style to a Bowie knife. The back end is shaped for blunt backhand strikes to the temple. Sap Gloves - God I love these things. They protect your hands, and deliver a solid thumping punch.
Search among the fallen soldiers for M9 and M16 as I do not currently own either, and have training with both. Fire when fired upon, stay low, stealth is the greatest armor of all (ever killed someone you didnt know was there?).
End of the Wold - Zombies, aim for the head type Claw Hammer - (I am NOT confident my Katana would sever heads/limbs, though "battle ready" it is basically a training tool for a "live" blade) Hammer would ideally be replaced with a Crowbar (do not currently own) as this tool could be used for bludgeoning, hooking, impaling, and hell... opening stuff. The hammer i would still keep, as it is still very much a hammer, good for hammering/removing nails.
Ideal Finds .22 pistol - Yes, .22. Pistol, preferably, rifle if i have to. To be used when there is one between me and somewhere I have to be, and no feasable way around. Relying here on the .22 bullet bouncing around in the skull and liquifying brains. Hopefully that is not an urban legend XD.
Pump Action Shotgun, virtually any type, full mag tube - To be carried and used when things go south, as a last resort. Relying on center of mass shots, to knock things down, and hoping they are not coordinated to get up quickly.
End of the World - Technologically advanced species Well, they came ALL this way... they're pretty determined to get what they want.
Likely same loadout as humans, if they are "gray" aliens, and relatively squishy. If were talking Independence Day aliens, with exoskeletons and force fields and whatnot, whatever would kill me quickest in the event they found where i was hiding XD.

As an Australian (virtually all guns and knives plus weapons are illegal) I would have no idea.
2 melee weapons / knifes , 1 sidearm , and 1 primary weapon......hmmmmm
Melee weapons- a Bowie knife and a Tomahawk/small axe Sidearm- I would not get a sidearm but rather a crossbow or bow and arrow. For hunting and stealth killing. Primary weapon- I would probably go for an AK-47 for my primary weapon as I heard they are great rifles and can handle dirt and sand etc (which is why they were great for rebels like the Viet Cong).
I also would take a shovel, portable BBQ, bottles of water, a billy (small tin for boiling water), a camping tin for cooking on the fire, cans of food, flint, matches, a lighter, touches and a tent.

G.I Trenching shovel, my personal favorite Katana, A Tomahawk OR a Crossbow as my sidearm(Trained in both) and most likely a M4 or M16 that I find, though I prefer not to use guns.

2 melee weapons / knifes , 1 sidearm , and 1 primary weapon A pair of my sharpest bolo knives for my melee, a meteor hammer for my sidearm and a good, sturdy bow for my primary. Machine-manufactured ammunition doesn't do well in a survival scenario, and guns aren't the most robust of weapons. Plus, get a misfire at the wrong time and you're screwed.

You know what happens when a bow or it's arrow break? You get slivers of razor sharp wood flung at your face. If you chose a non-manufactured bow and arrows for your weapons you'd have to already know how to make and maintain every part of that weapon and be able to understand the structure to know befre time if the weapon is compromised or learn in a very short amount of time. If you want quick, easy and safe long distance weaponry the best options would be a classical slingstone or a javelin/spear.
