Any comicbook fans or anyone here grow up with cartoons and superheroes?
I was a big Marvel fan growing up. Hulk, Ironfist, Luke Cage, Black Panther and the Xmen were my favorite. Spiderman was ok but I didn't like him as much. He annoyed me. I had most of the comics but some have gone missing now. I became a Cap'merica fan later on. He's just so cool. what I learned from these guys is that everyone needs help and that one person isn't enough to end all troubles. So, thanks to these guys I only did what was right and just.
There were few DC heroes I liked. I hated Superman like there was no tomorrow and the Greenlanturn sucked. The Flash and Batman were the only ones I really liked.
Others I had and watched Cartoons of were Spawn, Witchblade, The Crow, Fantastic Four animated, Transformers, Sonic the Hedgehog, Earthworm Jim, Super Mario, Reboot, The Watchmen, etcetc. Theyre all about doing the right thing even when you have a gift given by the devil himself, you do whats right.
What are some of your heroes and how did they influence you to be the person you are now?

Never cared for alot of DC stuff....except Batman of course. I love the Punisher. He's just so radically different than from what a superhero is suppose to be. He's the marvel batman. He has no superpowers, he uses guns, and explosives and he just gets down and dirty, no bullshit.
I liked Spawn alot, growing up. Dark and gritty just like the Punisher. Quite an unsettling story line for a 8 year old. And Watchmen of course, I got into that a few years before the movie came out.

Defiantly Batman.
I only read DC Comics, and one of the coolest things about Batman is that he is widely considered by everyone in the DC Universe to be the most dangerous being there is. I think its great that in a universe of super powered mega beings, the most dangerous man is just that; a man.

Spawn, Venom, X-man (nate grey), Tekkaman Blade and Vageta are my favourites. I also liked power rangers, samurai pizza cats, biker mice from mars & street sharks when I was a kid lol I don't know if they influenced me or not in life but definitely in my own work since I'm an amateur comic & and manga write. Defiantly Batman. I only read DC Comics, and one of the coolest things about Batman is that he is widely considered by everyone in the DC Universe to be the most dangerous being there is. I think its great that in a universe of super powered mega beings, the most dangerous man is just that; a man. because he's a fucking genius & master tactician who almost singlehandedly beat the xmen after they ambushed him in a cross over. I also liked a lot of rikashikus stuff especially earthworm jim & reboot but I liked superman & superman too lol

I was never a HUGE comic book fan, but I've always liked Spiderman. When I was really little I loved Batman, too, but not as much.

I grew up in an Asian household so naturally was introduced to comics from Shounen Jump stories like Dragonball. I mostly read Japanese and Korean manga/manhwa when it comes to eastern publications.
I loved Marvel comics, but really don't know much about DC (I know enough to have some conversations, not enough to consider myself a fan). I also enjoyed some comics from Darkhorse. When it comes to DC, Batman really was the only hero that appealed to me.
I was introduced to Marvel comic when my parents bought me a Spider-man comic book that put together all issues that involved Venom. There were many cameos from other series from Marvel in that book, such as when Spider-man works with the Fantastic Four. I followed the 90s Spider-man cartoon series, and loved the final story arc that was based on the "Secret War" storyline, which later introduced me to the Avengers story.
I also enjoy the "Ultimate" series and really love some of the newer works like Marvel Zombie and Civil War.

People might notice that three of my superheroes are professional wrestlers. When I was a kid those guys weren't fighters they were superheroes which is why I point out that the biggest problem with wrestling these days isn't that everyone knows it's fake (I realised wrestling was fake before santa) it's the fact that they've lost touch with the superhero genre. That should have been made obvious when the Rock returned to face Cena. The Rock looks like a super hero and as the Rock put it Cena looks like what would happen if a Vanilla Ice banged a Teletubby.

Actually, the biggest problem with wrestling today is the fact that the theme song to Monday Night Raw is a Nickelback song.

Nickelback goes okay with superheroes, the problem is that none of the roster are loud or exiting enough to be superheroes.

I always liked the fact that Batman had no real superpower. He was a normal human with some real willpower. They made a joke about that when he borrowed the Green Lantern's ring, saying that the ring should have gone to Bruce rather than Hank.

I'm not much of a superhero fan, I prefer the super villains! As far as the villains go, my favorites would have to be the Joker, Bullseye and Loki. Bullseye is a badass, purely because he once killed a man by throwing a tooth at him.
