Actually the Sillynannies were wearing early gridiron gear. Check it out. That's a 1920ish gridiron helmet. Here's more. www.gridironuniforms.com/1920.htmlIn conclusion the Sillynannies are playing or at least trying to play American football. Early rugby union gear looked more like this. Besides, the North Queensland Cowboys and Brisbane Broncos are Rugby LEAGUE, very different to Rugby UNION. Rugby Union is more of a pushing game, Ruby League is a hitting game. I still say go the mighty BRONCOS! Rugby League had as much to do with my MMA toughness as Kyokushin.

English football is better than American football..
Besides how is American football called football ? they spend most times hugging each other and the ball in hands..
British Football is the most popular sport in the world.

Soccer is only the most popular sport in the THIRD world. All broke kids dream of is a pair of shoes to make kicking the rock easier. Makes a person wonder though, how can a tough street kid become such a sook just by the becoming a soccer star. Does the money make them soft or is it just the nature of Soccer?
Hey Keyboard, I've got some real pre-game entertainment you should find...well, we know which way you swing. This is how you prove that Rugby is a man's sport.

Soccer is only the most popular sport in the THIRD world. Actually, soccer is the most popular sport in the world, ironically only in the U.S. they call it soccer, everywhere is called futbol, or football. 700 million people watched the last World Cup, whereas 111 million people watched the last Super Bowl. European countries are not considered third world countries. Football was modeled after rugby and soccer. And no, I'm not a soccer fan, I stopped watching it in the 90's, I got sick of all the corruption in FIFA.

Frank I live in Australia, not America. Soccer is not the most popular sport over here nor does is have a strangle-hold on the name football, most Aussies call it soccer. Soccer is not the most popular sport in India, cricket is, funnilly enough they call it soccer too. In fact the only really well developed countries that can honestly list soccer as a properly popular sport would be Italy, Germany, France and England. Spain is third world, as is Brazil. China can't really list it as popular, neither can Japan.

Sorry if I implied that you lived in America Odee,
Although most Aussies call it soccer, and assuming Indians do as well, the majority of the world still calls it football, or futbol. Even if it's not popular in India and China (which I assume you mentioned since the 2 countries combined are the majority of the world's population), it's still the most popular sport in the world, cricket is not popular outside of India, Pakistan and England.
You are incorrect saying Spain is third world, it is part of the Countries considered well developed, not only that, but aside from the countries you listed as well developed, where soccer is popular there are also the following:
Ireland Spain Finland Netherlands Sweden Belgium Norway Greece Portugal Denmark South Africa South Korea
