Nothing puts me in a better mood then a little Joe Walsh with some Rocky Mountain Way.
Go!

Guns n Roses. Nothing fires me up better than Welcome to the jungle.....or Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen for some strange reason.
If you like Joe Walsh (who doesn't right) then listen to Funk #48 by the James Gang (his old band). It is great.

I went and saw Rock of Ages on Fathers Day and now I've pulled out all my old Def Leppard cds. They're coming to Denver with Poison in 2 weeks and I have tickets, can't wait.

I'm in a Fleet Foxes mood. I like a lot of things, but mostly alternative and indie music.

@glutton ok, u asked...
classical (german/english baroque); opera (german/austrian (adult and boy choir), english) rock (50's - 80's era) country rock (pre-80's, bluegrass) folk (american, korean, celtic) american indian tribal (navajo only), african tribal (isicathamiya/acapella only) gospel swing (20's and 30's era) meditation (indian, inuit, navajo spiritual, some recorder, korean folk)
...and I try to keep up with trance and house, because I use them as background music for MA videos I make, though I don't really like it.
In doing my forms solo, I work out mainly to classical, tribal, meditative, and pink floyd.
In heavy bag, it's usually like rush, stones, van halen, who, led zep, ozzy, acdc, scorpions, yes, aerosmith
Now I'm cranking up 'who made who'...

I gave up on Trance a couple of years ago. Too much junk to weed through and new sets come out ALLLLLL the damn time. Tough to find stuff I like.
My dad's an Audiophile. I'm not really an Audiophile, but I like music and I like it to sound good. I'm used to literally everything you just listed. We have a ton of music people would look at us funny for owning. Last year I was at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Denver and finding a room where somebody was playing my kind of music was an oddity. It was all classical, opera, and foreign styles of music.

Yeah, I appreciate anything that shows talent, not something stuffed into (or yanked out of) an amplifier. My grandfather used to grouse that the worst thing that ever happened to music was the amp. But amp is fine for me if I can see it being used creatively.
So... I guess I was wrong! You're not surprised! I also get odd looks from people when I tell them I listen to Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Chieftains on the same playlist... :-)
