I'll look into that. I use a black hawk holster to carry. I think that is what it is called. It has the release lock on it. It has a belt loop to use with it, but i only use the clip. I'm not sure of what I did with the belt loop portion of the holster. I never used the belt loop just being lazy I guess, plus a police officer friend of mines is the one the recommended I use the clip instead of the loop. I've been looking for a new holster for my p250 since I added my laser on the rail. I was hoping to find one that will lock like my black hawk so that you can pull the gun out without hitting the release button first.

Hey KW, how the heck did you break your Makarov? What broke? Those pistols are tanks! I took the slider off, and the firing pin, thinking I could put it back together....alas I couldnt. And so now its just kind of in pieces.....I really wanna shoot it to.

I'd say mail it to me and that I'd fix it, but that's kind of a pain with a pistol. But I took mine down and got it back together in the past. It belongs to a friend of mine now. It's actually not that bad. There's probably something on YouTube that could walk you through it.

I'll look into it. I was just told to take it to a gun smith. Because what happened now as I recall, is that its not in pieces, I put it back together, in what I thought was the correct manner. Took it to the gun range, and the bastard wouldn't fire. But thanks for the video.

Well I'd be happy to take that broken gun off your hands if you don't feel like getting it fixed. And heck, I won't even charge you!

That is too kind of you. Unfortunately makarov's are fucking awesome, and you'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands. Cause this is the land of the free, home of the whopper.

Dude, give us a little more credit. Home of the Big Mac. Fuckin' commie.
By the way, what's the make of the Mak? I miss mine. I'll probably pick up another when my financial situation gets better again. I don't have enough guns anymore.

This is 'Merica. Love it or go home.
I dunno. It's buried in one of my chests, that I don't feel like pulling out at the moment. I'll put it out tomorrow when I gotta put some things away, and I'll tell you.

@kw - did you take it to the Firing Line, they're pretty good. I know the owner.
Made a mistake, the Firing Line is up here. The gun shop with gunsmithing in ABQ is Calibers. The owner's name is Don, he's a pretty good guy and they can fix anything.

@jwb - Blackhawk's are awesome holsters, i have 2 but they're not good for CCW, more for open carry.

I like the black hawk holster. I like that you can't just take the gun from my holster unless you release it. I practice releasing it. I know exactly where my hand placement needs to be.
I need to go to the range soon. I also need to get my glock armorer to put my red dot laser in my barrel on my glock.

Just be careful not to slide your finger from the switch to the trigger. There have been NDs from that in the past. Remember, finger off the trigger guard.
JW, I sent you a PM with some more holster info.
