Mine is also custom made by Garrett Industries. Then again, all of their holsters are custom made! Kydex holster with leather lining. Best of both worlds.

@jwb and Glutton - with enough practice with the Blackhawk, you can slide your index finger directly from the release to the area just below the slide, just above the trigger. Most ranges will let you shoot from the draw if you take a class from them showing you can do it safely.

If you're just buying a weapon (recommended) you'll need to get a separate title 2 for every firearm. I wouldn't recommend a Class 3 dealers license. You basically sign away your rights to the federal government when you do that unless you actually run a shop. Otherwise you have to list your home as your dealer location and the ATF can search your home at any time.

Glutton,
That what I'm talking about a class 3 license. They can come and search your home at anytime. You can declare that only a portion is being used for selling guns and they are only supposed to search that area, but they actually search the entire home from what I've researched. I have nothing to hide, but I don't want the intrusion. One way to get around it is to put a building on your property, but it must have its own address or they can still search your home. Too much red tape for me.

A friend of mines that is an officer wants it too. He may go ahead and get his dealers license. If so I'll just shoot his at the range...lol But it won't be like having my own.

yo chef samurai, what about getting some pepperball bullets for the paint ball stuff?
here the laws are quite weird too, but a little more flexible, here you can have a 22. handgun, or up to 380 (not special) revolver. a shotgun or a rifle i dont remember the Cal. for this ones. and also you can only buy bullets or guns from the authorized shop, that is on the capital city.
anyway, nobody listens to this so we have plenty of things to kill ourselves with.

I own a pair of HKs.
I got an HK USP Expert .45 and a HK USP Compact 9mm. Every day carry I use the Compact, for competetion shooting I use the expert, I like the compact but my hands a little big for it, I tend to use an extended magazines to make it a little more comfortable.
I've had quite a few, but traded my way up to the HKs, which I LOVE.

I really like the newer HKs. The grip on the USP is kind of a "Love it or hate it" thing, much like the Glock. But the HK45 and P30 both feel INCREDIBLE! When I got my PPQ, it boiled down to either it or a P30 V3. The main reason I picked the PPQ was the trigger. HK tends to build pistols with very long trigger resets. Since I've been used to Glock for so long, it was a clear choice. Go with the one that I'll be able to shoot better with since I already know the system.
I do want a P30 in the future, though. Super nice.
