So alot of people are saying that Silva didn't even try to knock out Silva in their first fight, that he was just trying to submit him, and plus his rib injury, are what caused him to really lose those 4 rounds.
I call B.S. Look he already set up another excuse...saying that he hurt his knee but that he was still going to fight? I mean whats the point of releasing that information, if it wasn't to have an excuse lined up.
Sonnen has this. He's going to knock him out, 3rd or 4th ground.

I'm sure as hell rooting for Sonnen at the very least. There's been time to prepare for Silva, though. But I agree completely about the excuses. Anderson's ego won't allow him to be humble and admit that Sonnen whooped him for 4 rounds, and I doubt he'll be able to swallow it if he loses this fight either.

And I'm especially excited, because I have tickets for it. So I get to see Sonnen beat the sh*t out of Anderson Silva, live.

I'm cheering for Sonnen too. I cannot stand Silva, he is an arrogant twat who always has an excuse. His behaviour against Maia was a disgrace. Plus that Seagal nonsense too. I can't see Sonnen knocking Silva out standing but I think he will take him down, get the top position and ground n pound him into oblivion. He should use his wrestling to his advantage and avoid standing which is what Silva will want. Sonnen to win via ground n pound or maybe a TKO from some dirty boxing.

Sonnen's wrestling will still be a problem for him. I just want this fools reign to be over.

I can't stand Silva's arrogance, he has great skill no doubt, but his arrogance has indirectly steered me to cheer for Sonnen, even with his trolling which has been quite effective to hype fights.
Silva was dominated by a guy with great wrestling skill, who was not afraid of him at all and even did well during stand-up exchanges. I believe the fight will look like the first one.
If Sonnen would swallow his pride and learn some BJJ for defense, he would be almost unstoppable, and if he didn't want for whatever reason learn BJJ, then get together with Josh Barnett, and learn catch wrestling, with the same results.
Rooting for Sonnen !

The problem with Sonnen though is that no respectable BJJ guys will teach him. Sonnen has talked so much shit about Brazil and Silva that all the good BJJ guys simply won't teach him. I know he's approached some big names, like Palhares, and they just won't do it. So that kind of sucks.

I agree that Sonnen should study Catch wrestling under Erik Paulson or Barnett. That would make him a monster of a fighter. And refining some Boxing or Muay Thai wouldn't hurt either:)

I didn't know he approached some BJJ guys, after all the crap he talked about it, I'm not surprised they turned him down.
I had forgotten about Erik Paulson, thank you Bandito, that would be sweet.
Maybe he could learn judo?

the tank....no problems:) Judo would be great for him to learn too. It would give his wrestling a different take and he would learn all the BJJ moves and submissions as well.

I'm really interested in this fight too! The only problem is I've planned a trip to the mountains during the fight! It blows.
I was rooting for Sonnen their first fight and quite sore about Silva winning by the submission. Both guys are wild and crazy, and great fighters. I just hope Sonnen pounds the shit out of Silva. I want to see him truly against the wall, and see what he can do.

As much as I like Silva, I'm all for Sonnen in this fight.
