Ok, I know one doesn't beat another and it all depends on the practitioner and instructor but I wanna see an argument. But honestly, I think this thread will be a total dud and no one will comment on this LOL

Neither. Sadly both are loaded with McDojos and only have a small number of styles and schools that can honestly call their students fighters. If you're bored find out the ratio of Taekwando students who learned in ATA, Olympic or Rhee Taekwando schools and you'll have a good idea of what percentage of Taekwando students have no fighting ability. Then find out how many Karateka practice only point sparring, non-contact, Go Kan Ryu or American AKKA and you'll have a good idea of what percentage of Karateka have no fighting ability.

Yeah, I did read them. I'm not saying any style is "gay" or whatever. I asked this question because I was wondering what people would say that's all.

This is the warzone. You could bash any style you want. And while this borderlines on being those list of questions I think are repeated far too often, I still think some discussion could come of it.
I think Karate is far more well rounded, and while Odee is right, McDojo's plague both styles, I think they affect TKD far more heavily. So my vote goes towards karate.
