i want to get that muscle memory thing going. make it second nature so my body can react with the right technique without my full conscious thought. for an individual hand technique lets say a block to the side from a high roundhouse kick to the head. if i wanted to repeat the block daily how many times would be a good number. roughly??? would as little as just 10 times a day but with good concentration be enough. or would u have to do it like 50 times or more. and i don't want to know about how it is different for everyone or it depends what timeframe u want to achieve it in. lets say on average or for u with no time frame just when it happens. how many times u practice a singular technique when u practice it. at the moment i practice 12 different basic techniques 30 times each, on each arm. is it fine if i just do as little as 10, or is my 30 a good amount, or should i be doing more otherwise my mere 30 will take 10 years to develop muscle memory. thats what i want to know? cheers

Technically there's no such thing as muscle memory, what your talking about is engraining a movement into your neural pathways.
And if you want to get it really engrained, do it as much as possible. Like walking, you'll have been engraining that since you were little, to the point where even under extreme stress you can walk.

One of Itosu Sensei's 10 lessons on MA
"Train in proportion to your own constitution." (This is widely varied from individual to individual, so only you can really know, but the point is don't over train.)
I believe it was Matsumura Sensei who said. "Train 3 hours a day every day, with 100 strikes with each limb to train the body in karate."
