If you haven't caught on to my other posts, I have half of my left arm and my full right... I've decided that instead of keeping on with my Katana that I want to try a different weapon.. I was thinking of trying the Bo.
Any comments/suggestions?

you would want to do a long bo style then it might be easier as you are not holding it in thirds but more towards one end. if you give me a few weeks i can try and modify the styles i know and see if i can come up with something.
it might help to know what styles are available in your area as well
how are you doing with the katana? the hanbo might also be a good weapon or the jo. there shorter then the bo. a hanbo is 3 foot and a jo is 4. many of the movements are similar to sword

Well, in my area all I have is Judo, Shou' Shu', and TKD. My Shou' Shu' dojo will teach any weapons and what not, but they think the bo would be hard for me to learn.
I'm pretty good with the Katana and Rapier, Never lost a match with either. But I'm wanting to move out of bladed weapons and move more flexible weapons. I want to eventually learn the 9 section whip and the 3 section staff.

i think you should start out with a short staff like the jo (bang) get use to the extra length first.
