My three are- Lyoto Machida- great evasion, fantastic counters and strategy. Josh Barnett- best catch wrestler in MMA. Love his top position. Fedor- greatest HW ever and dominated for a decade. Love his ground and pound plus Sambo leg locks.
Also enjoy Rampage for his theatrics, Frankie Edgar for his heart and boxing, BJ Penn for his past BJJ ability, Wanderlei Silva, and Dan Henderson.

josh barnett- same he knows how to ride better than anyone & his throws are good too IMO
fedor emelianko- same plus his punches were epic
dan henderson- has a interesting style & stance where he holds his front arm out at like 45 degrees or something & it seems akward for people because no style does it the way he does and he can stand up & fight or go to the ground.
I used to be a big fan of bj penn, brandon vera, patrick cote & cung le because they are all good at what they do.

Bas Rutten - Great personality, absolute monster, funny guy and Kyokushin/Muay Thai/Brazilian Jujitsu practitioner. Mark Hunt - Stuck his chin out and invited his opponent to hit it. Antonio Inoki - Put the great Boxer Ali down in a Karate vs Boxing match that allowed no take-downs, no punches from Inoki because he had bare hands and no kicks unless he was down on one knee.

Lyoto Machida- Respectful, smart, always fun to watch (you never know what hes going to do), and is one of the top LHW with his shotokan. hes definetly an origional, and he really showed that karate can do work in the UFC.
Jon Jones- great fighter, respectful most of the time (couldnt blame him with rashad evans, i dont like him either), got to give him props, hes so young, yet so dominant.
Anderson Silva- easily one of the if not the best fighters of all time, always respectful. frankly i happy he went off on sonnen. he is a terrible representation of america and i am embarrassed to have him fight representing our country.

Igor Vovchanchyn, has the longest winning streak in MMA, great kickboxer, did really well in 1 day tournaments where he fought several people in a day. A striker who was pummeling grapplers when grapplers were tooling strikers back in the day. A 5'8 man who fought heavyweight and dominated much larger/stronger guys. Basically he was a Fedor prototype Fedor Emeliannko, 10 years of absolute dominance, never did antics, always a straight face, humble, terrifying skill both striking and grappling. Also enjoy his brother Aleksander's fights. Sean Sherk, this guy looked for years as he was fueled by some kind of experimental jet fuel, implemented a very simple looking formula : take down then ground and pound. Matt Hughes : Same reason as Sean Sherk. They were masters of ground and pound. Kasushi Sakuraba: He single-handlely destroyed the Gracie myth, became the Gracie hunter, awesome grappler. Genki Sudo, great fighter, great entertainer, was really sad when he retired still young. Lyoto Machida: Love his style, and how accurate his counters are. Frankie Edgar: The guy has tremendous heart and great boxing/wrestling. Tyson Griffin: Very well rounded.

Fedor. Although he hasn't used many leglocks. He's a monster with armbars and chokes and his punches are insane. I miss getting to watch him fight now that he's retired.
Shinya Aoki. Serious mix of Judo and BJJ. Always fun to watch.
GSP. Insane wrestler, and he's not even from a wrestling background. He's from a Kyokushin Karate background and has some of the best striking in the entire sport, and yet it's not even what he's known for.

Who I respect most for their fighting.
Both Diaz brother - Don't give a f*ck, real and not fake, there to fight and actually use PURE skill/technique to fight and their tremendous cardio and their stats every fight prove that. Other fighters use there strength or just wrestling. They have their own unique style of striking/boxing and their grappling is actually skillful not just holding guys they submit guys. They're also great in the clinch too.
Anderson Silva - Finishes fights, machine and again, actually uses PURE skill/technique to fight and his stats/accuracy proves that. Other than fighting I don't really like him.
Lyoto Machida - Again, uses PURE skill/technique and you can't deny that and no huge muscles to hold guys he's a very technical fighter and doesn't get hit very often but is very accurate, I do believe he is quite boring though.
Jon Jones - Always amazing to watch him fight but some may argue he has an advantage over everyone, taller than everybody in LHW and the longest reach and also probably one of the strongest with the best leverage. Still very talented and young.
Yeah I respect the guys who use TECHNIQUE over wrestling and luck as in just two guys brawling or just kickboxing their could be like 100 outcomes, e.g. My point was proved when Shogun fought Vera, Vera gave just as good as he got and Shogun is supposed to be this amazing striker, when in reality he is just fearless and a brawler with a solid chin with a lot of experience.
One could throw a leg kick just as the other comes over with the overhand right right at the same time you can never know. I think luck is involved tremendously aswel as wisdom, just look. E.g. the likes of Brock, Sanchez, Sonnen like to use the holding method and it may be effective but not as enjoying to watch.
