We will be getting rid of the Karma System. In my opinion, its a rather petty way of judging someone, because you're judging them as a whole. The fact that it's also anonymous and you can vote every hour, doesn't help either.
However, the like/dislike post feature will remain. This is how we should be judged. By what we post individually. Plus it's not anonymous....if you're unhappy with someone or how they post, let them know it. Plus you can explain yourself, instead of arbitrarily up voting or down voting someone.

Is the like and dislike even necessary? If you disagree and have a valid reason just out with it. Differing opinions are what make diversity in martial arts so the more you can do to encourage arguments the more ways of skinning the proverbial cat will be revealed.

I think so. Sometimes responding isn't really necessary. Sometimes a simple thumbs up/down says it all. Sometimes it's just wasted words to say, good post JW or that post sucked chef....thumbs up and down says it all.
