I'm a bit worried about the Michael Bay Ninja Turtles. I think the only mistake he made with Transformers was that they managed to hit things with their guns. That never happened in the cartoon, they just randomly sprayed everything.

I forgot that about how limited cartoon violence back then before mortal kombat & image comics like he-man never cut anyone up with his sword he just punched people in the head and whats the point of BFS if your NEVER going to cut things up with it?
and idk about a ninja turtles movie which version will it be based on there are so many incarnations and they are different from each other and some are really stupid I hope it's the original.

That's what I'm worried about. There are so many that it just begs a person to take creative steps.
My personal favorite origin was actually the 80s cartoon. I found it easier to believe that Splinter was Hamato Yoshi before he got turned into a rat. Is it strange that I find it easier to believe a martial artist becomes a rat-man than it is to believe the rat watched Ninjutsu got oozed and suddenly understood how it all works? Recently they made a new origin that centers around reincarnation, it's the original Eastmann and Laird story but the transformation connects the turtles and Splinter to Hamato Yoshi who was alive during the feudal era by way of reincarnation.

Yeah I hope they go the way of the classic cartoon too it was the best incarnation IMO.
And hows comic going btw? I'm finally starting my first issue I just got a bunch of the details worked out and when I get the story edited together I'll let you have a look over at it if you want.

I hit a conversation wall, so I'm getting together with one of my faster minded mates to sort of play out possible conversations between characters. I play the slower minded character and he makes quip work out of me.

I wish I even knew where I screwed up lol I think I made too many stories in the same world without thought of when & where it would fit in so I have a mess and I needed some inspiration for direction.
After a few months I had to reboot a few things but now I'm on track again and going steady but I'm having dialogue issues myself now too that I think about it.

plot holes! I had too many plot holes that required major modification to fix so I just rebooted a bunch of stuff keeping the spirit alive in a sense so I have direction to go with while starting over.
I have a problem with dialogue too it comes out kinda like a mad man talking to himself lol

Ask your friends about their favorite song and think about them every time you hear it, then when you're writing just listen to those songs, you'll find each of the characters will start to sound like one of your friends.
That's me.
That's my best friend. I listen to that when I'm writing for the character that he inspired and to my delight his wife recognised him while she was reading the comic, no hints, no catch phrases she just got it.
My problem is having a character who doesn't sound like any of my friends. No music fits her.
