Hey guys, I joined this forum ages ago and I've got to say that it's brilliant. Either way, I forgot to introduce myself so here goes. xD
As a member of an Indian warrior-priest clan, I was encouraged (more like forced) to start martial arts from a very young age by my father. (Every male in our family trains in a martial art, it's been a tradition for a very long time). Anyway, as my father was unable to teach me the clan kalari syllabus, he found me a good Shotokan Karate dojo when I was 6 and made me attend almost every single day. I trained shotokan for 10 years, but after my sensei passed away I decided to start Capoeira. I've got limited experience in Muay Thai and the Doce Pares system of Eskrima, too.
Apart from martial arts, I'm almost 23, and I'm currently studying to be an architect in the UK. My studies take up most of my time, and when I don't study I train.
That's pretty much it, I guess.

Awesome man, good to have you on board. It's awesome you do Capoeira, because I don't think I've seen many people on here or YA! that practice it, so your knowledge should be invaluable.
