What do you read as far as MA publications go? I have been reading blitz for a while, but i do skip issues if the editorials/advertorials are a bit too pervasive. I find Jissen Mag is ok, even though it isn't as professionally done. www.jissenmag.com/www.blitzmag.net/

Used to read the annual Blitz instructors special but now there are more ad pages than technique pages so I don't bother.

I used to read BB Mag years ago, and some KF Mag too. Now I only read the books of the older masters of various systems. My main martial art research comes from the IRKRS.

I used to get BB mag on and off over the past two decade or so, but not anymore. I still have a year and a half stack I have yet to read. I occasionally get a copy of Asian World of Martial Arts, but the subscript price is huge, but well worth it. And my Aikido sensei gets Aikido Journal for the dojo, and that's always a good read too.
