Personally I think as a fighter, as a champion he should have accepted the fight with Chael Sonnen. I understand Dana once said (about diaz), "what kind of person loses in the lower division and moves up to fight the p4p best" but then lets Sonnen have two opportunities and he had nothing to lose taking this fight but Jones did.
My arguement is that if Jon Jones is so good, why didn't he accept the fight, let everybody get the money they deserve and rely on, and even if he did lose he would get his rematch or earn his way back up and win his title again easily right? I don't think he is scared it just happens to be Greg Jackson down his ear because I think he's threatened by his wrestling ability. All of my respect has gone for JBJ but I do think Dana has been a bit too generous to Sonnen lately.
Also, JBJ complained about the income he got from Machida and about it was the worst income he'd had in a title defence and he's the most dangerous. From what I can remember, Dan Henderson has just as good wrestling as Sonnen and is a Pride Legend who is much more dangerous. Sonnen also offered JBJ his whole purse. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND?!?!
