How competitive was Belfort? I didn't see the fight.

Belfort put up a an ok fight, better than most of us imagined he would. He armbarred Jones in the 1st round after being taken to the ground, and I'm he messed up his arm pretty bad, but Jones didn't tap. After that, it was about 3 more rounds of Jones being in Vitor's guard, and Vitor eating elbow sandwiches. Vitor got a sweet head kick in at one point, and he was pretty good about evading his strikes for what part of it they were standing up. Eventually Jones got past his guard and he made Vitor tap to a kimura in the 4th round.

was a great card all around. 2 things though people were saying that charles olivera had a delayed knock out. no he got hit felt it and quit. other thing. i really hate those front kicks and side kicks to the knee jon does. they have 2 things it could do break a leg and end a career and keep your opponent unable to come in and fight. i just dont like them

I would love to see him go to HW now. I undestand Henderson and Machida will fight an eliminator fight before fighting Jones.
Can anyone beat him?

I don't know why people just forgot about Gustafsson. He's got a similar build to Jones, and I think it would be a great fight. I can see both Machida or Henderson landing a lucky hit on him, but it's slim. He can be beaten.

I agree with you KW, I think Gustafsson should be well ahead of Machida for a fight with Jones. He could trouble him.

I dunno if he should be next but it's like people aren't even including him. I think if Gustafsson puts away Shogun, he should get it after the winner of Machida/Henderson.
