When 2012 started, I set my New Years Resolution to drop from 238 lbs to below 200 by the end of the year. My goal is pretty much accomplished, now I'm just seeing how far I can surpass that goal.
My question is this: Who else set a similar goal and what have you done to accomplish it?
If you haven't yet, what do you plan to do in the next couple of months before the end of the year to try to meet it?
I'd like to see everybody here who wants to lose weight actually accomplishing their goals. I'd like to know who wanted to lose weight, because I know I can't be alone in this one, and how far you've come. If you haven't made your goals yet, feel free to ask for advice and lets make this a thread about reaching them before the end of this year.

My current goal is to go from about 140 to about 155 by sometime in January but that's a goal i made about a week ago when i revamped my whole workout regimen. So i'm essentially going the opposite of you. Also, i wanna bulk up too about 160 then cut to 155 so i'm well-defined and not just big.

i revamped my whole weight training schedule. I've also started on the supplement Creatine to gain size and i've been eating a bit more protein to help with muscle building after workouts.

Good topic. My goal is to get into moderate shape. I'm applying for my city's police department after I graduate from college.
I say moderate, because I test in january, which isn't alot of time to get completely healthy.

It might seem dumb. but my resolution is to finish my water bottle. i swear to you im sitting here right now with like 9 half full, room temperature waters from earlier today or yesterday. while im sipping on a fresh cold one

My New Years resolution for 1997 was not to make any more new year resolution. So far I have been doing great with that

Idk if i've reached my goal. I've seen some improvement but i don't have a scale. i'll invest in one in a week or so and let y'll know if i reached my goal or my new goal for 2013

So i bought a scale about 2.5 weeks ago and I was 135lbs because my diet was almost one meal a day. so i'm usually only getting about 500 calories a day whereas i need at least 2100 just to stay the same weight. however, I've recently gotten a supplement which is about 300 calories each serving so i use that when i have no meals. i am currently ~140lbs. therefore, i have pushed my goal weight of 155 to Summer as a New Year resolution.

(months later) I've been hitting the gym like it were a punching bag and I've gotta say it's paid off. I'm currently ~145 of solid muscle and steadily increasing. I project that i should reach my 155 goal by about August at this rate. I will definitely be on do boast or pout.
