What websites do you recommend for buying equipment?
I have used ringside.com for things like gloves, gym bags, shin pads, they have two generic brands "ringside" and "top contender" which have worked pretty well.
For Muay thai shorts I have used muaythaistuff.com, sometimes they have very cheap shorts ($10 or under), so I would buy a couple, it takes a while since they are in Thailand, but it's the cheapest I've found.

For CMA stuff, coilingdragon.com is run by a very reputable Sifu that's proven his background on the bullshido.net forums. Shenmartialarts.com sells a big variety of herb packs for making Jow as well, plus some other cma stuff. I've had good experience with them. Scarfamilyditdajow.com has also been great. As far as pre-bottled Dit Da Jow goes, theirs has been a favorite of mine for about 5 years now.
For Muay Thai, I get all of my gear through my Kru. He imports all of our gear from Thailand so we can get good quality training equipment for cheap. But when it comes to Gloves, I do usually have to order them because I prefer Ringside and all the local shops carry is Everlast. Everlast just doesn't break in very well for me.

Glad to help Bear in mind that if you use muaythaistuff, their sizes are Thai sizes, who are considerable smaller people. I am a size 33-34 (waist) in the US, but in Thailand, that's xxlarge, so I guess I am morbidly obese over there, lol.

Has anyone ever used playwell.co.uk?
Is that a reliable site?
