Has anyone found Aikido to be useful or pracitcal?
Used it in a fight?
Used it in self defense?
How good or bad are its defense against knvies?

its as good as you are
i know they teach aikido in many police academics through out the united states. d i was sparing one of my friends who does aikido he was very good and trained it for about 20 some odd years, i would see he won the majority of the time. but thats the problem it is not a martial art that tkes a few years it takes almost a decade to get the principals down, if our going to take aikido you need to be dedicated to it

I've used all sorts of wrist locks as grip breaks for grappling. Not flashy by any means. I also use them when finishing up a bent arm bar/kimura/use garami (all the same thing..)
