I don't personally. But I'm just curious about the mindsets of people who have trouble controlling their tempers. I know people and rolled with people who for some reason can't handle physical confrontation. They start seeing red or something. One guy in particular, we were working wrestling drills, and we had to stop after each one of us took a turn to work this takedown, so he could breath and collect his thoughts. Either he would get pissed off that he didn't get the takedown on me or that he had to work really hard at it, or that I got it on him. After each time he looked like he was going to start taking swings at me.
Anyone have this problem. What do you do to control it?

I've lost my tempers a few times at Boxing. It's due more to my sparring partner doing dumb crap.
It's really hard to keep your temper in check when training partners do dumb crap like not releasing quickly when you tap or don't pull their punches in light sparring.
Judo was hard for that, two idiots kept doing everything really hard and not protecting their training partners. They were asked to leave after a few weeks.
I found deep breaths and visualizing its like water washing over you away.

I was guilty of it pretty regularly in my early Karate training, frustration was usually my trigger as well. I was taught to use my temper rather than let it control me, that was dealt with in closely monitored sparring matches, my opponent (Always a better student or one of the teachers) and a teacher gave me hell until I lost my cool, my sparring partner then pushed me further into my tantrum with insults and cheap-shots until I either realised that I'd lost it and controlled it or I needed to be smacked down. You can fight with your emotions pushing you, just as long as you can learn the control to not let them blind you.

I never really lost it during training at my dojo, I did however loose it when some guy in high school kept bullying my younger cousin. It was a long time ago so I'm sure I would have acted differently today, my Sensei has always instilled the idea of self preservation into his students and I'm glad that he does.
