Personally I think White was happy to see an end to Silva's BS clowning, now he can pat him on the back, tell him he's a good boy and organize a re-match between Weidman and a more respectful Silva for a lot of money. You might be pissed at someone for their arrogance one day but the cash that White can make off that re-match is sure to cool his temper.

My first thought was he threw the fight but then I remembered he clowned around against Franklin, Griffin and Meia.
I hope he follows through with what he said and doesn't take a rematch. Superfight with GSP or Jon Jones, move to LHW or HW.....
I'm glad he lost, I respected his talent but not his personality. He acted badly in weigh ins too

Silva always came across as fake to me. He spoke like he was trying to act professional, but actions speak louder than words and his actions have been the actions of a child for some time now. Great talent, not the greatest dude. Maybe he'll grow a bit mentally after this. I actually would like to see the rematch later to see how the loss changes Silva's attitude.

Anyone think it won't change?

If Silva gives even the slightest bit of a damn about what his coaches, his family, and his fans think about him in the future he won't pull that crap again for the rest of his career after that. Basics win fights, Anderson knows that, he knows that his hands should be up, but he chose to use a high risk taunt to try to keep his opponent standing because he knows that every time he faces a great wrestler he loses on the judges' scorecards anyway. Heck, if he had stopped taunting after the first round when he had made his point and fought seriously he'd have probably won the fight.

I was glad that his clowning cost him the fight, his arrogance sickens me

Part of me says he threw the fight but part of me also says he lost for being the way he was. A lot of Silva fans push the fact possibility that he threw the fight but to me I can't tell.
As for a super fight I doubt it will happen now, the chance of a super fight with GSP was pretty low to begin with anyway.

That really surprises me. I mean as a fan what would you rather hear about your favorite fighter?
He threw the fight and all his pride for a pay-check. or He got arrogant and payed the price.
Personally I'd rather hear that he got arrogant and payed for it because chances are that he'll get humble and come back better to prove that he's still the best.
