As the title suggests I'm in the market for a new phone as my iPhone 4 is kind of at the end of it's lifespan. Anyone have suggestions they'd like to put out? (just suggest phones I'll look into prices later). Thanks guys.

I personally love my iphone 5, its my first iphone. Theres always something about one of my phones that really bugs me, like its battery life, or I had one phone that constantly took pictures in my pocket. The only two phones I never had a problem with were my Blackberry and Iphone 5. Unless you want to change it up. At that point I can't help you, I hated the android. Slow piece of shit in my opinion.

I was actually considering moving away from the iPhone this time, maybe change it up a little. Friends of mine that have Androids are pretty happy with them I think.

Everyone I know with androids are happy with theirs, but I didn't enjoy it. Reason why is once you start moving away from Apple stuff, the software feels clunky and slow. Thats my perception anyways. I noticed with my android after a while it just got slower and slower, and the market didn't really impress me.

Yeah the market definitely has less selection but I guess that's just something you'll have to get used to when you move away from a more popular brand. I was looking at the Sony Xperia Z and I quite like the look and feel of it so I'm definitely considering it right now.

Yeah I think the user interface probably is faster for the Iphones since you can't really customize anything, it's all there in the most efficient way. Personally I suggest getting a Galaxy s4 considering it's the newest in phone technology right now. I'm using a Gs3, of course it is android and it's rooted so it does slow down after a while but I usually factory reset it once a month so it's not really problem for me. My father is on the Galaxy note 2 and that has the BIGGEST screen ever and the specs on it are like a mini computer.

A friend of mine has the S4 it's a nice phone I have to say. Nice specs, ton of features, runs smoothly but the one thing that kinda gets to me is the plastic casing. It feels cheap and unnatural in my hand. It really doesn't feel fit for my hands or have that feel of a phone I'm going to pay $600+ for.

I'm tired of my Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I want to try Apple. Next month I expect to see the next iPhone announced and launched. If it doesn't have a full 1080p Display I might stick with Android, but I'm really leaning toward the iPhone. I'll tell you right now after working at Best Buy selling both phones and tablets that iPhones and iPads are smoother running and more reliable devices overall than their Android counterparts. I've watched people switch from Apple to Samsung over and over again. I've also seen a lot of people that switched from Apple to Android say they never should have done it and switch back. I have yet to see anybody that switched from Android to Apple want to switch back. iOS is pretty plain, but the system just plain works and their hardware is so far head and shoulders above everybody else's that if you want or NEED a phone that's going to be reliable when you need it to be, the iPhone is pretty much the only quality option. I'd say at this point that Android is for people who want to play with a ton of settings and treat their phones like toys. I've pretty much grown out of it.

I think there are a bunch of phones coming next few weeks. Apple is releasing the new iPhone, Sony is releasing their new Sony Xperia Z1, Samsung Galaxy Note III is on it's way, and I think Motorola and HTC have phones coming too.

I really like the Xperia phones, but you can't really get them in the US. Our carriers didn't pick it up.

Really? I thought T-Mobile carried the Xperia Z? The new Xperia Z1 is coming out soon and I suspect they might open it up to more providers.
