Hi, I recently moved about 1 year ago and I'm trying to find a legit dojo in my area , I live in Diamond bar , CA. And I'm looking for a dojo that really makes you work really hard to obtain your belts instead of handing them out. I was thinking more of a traditional martial art preferably karate. But yeah does anyone know of a good dojo?!

Any half decent Dojo you'll have to work to get your ranks. You could try google and make a list of possible schools and visit them to see if they suit you. I generally don't do google look ups for people anymore.

The absolute best way of finding the best dojo in your area is by visiting them, all of them. I know it hurts to hear this but be open to other styles as well, I couldn't find a good Karate dojo when I moved so ten years of Karate ended and I started attending the best school in my new area - been doing Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiujitsu for nearly four years.
