Hey welcome to the forums, nice to have another Y/A member here. It seems people are pretty busy at the moment so activity is a little low but it picks up don't worry.
Have fun and see you around, KyK.

Good to have you hear? You practice anything else, like have you cross trained before?

@ KW In my early 20's i took a step back from sole Kempo training to train in Kickboxing, which lead onto Muay Thai couple of my mates trained in Thailand one of them been thai and an ex-fighter from over there and the other a heavyweight fighter, and a little BJJ, from a Brazilian guy who came over to work in the vineyards here so was only here for a year but he held a blackbelt and was a student of some Gracie family who at that time where unknown, couple years later everyone knew the gracie,s,lol. Im in a small country so everyone pretty much knows who is who with Martial Arts over here. Also in the 90's i use to get together with my mates on a sunday we where all from different systems and beliefs and had our own real life caged-dojo forum and sort it out in the ring so to speak, it was a wake up call to me with my own training but also benefited it greatly, my perspectives with regard to martial arts in general has changed over the years but MA is something il do the rest of my-life, im getting older now and being a solo dad with 4 kids to raise doesn't leave much time to myself so only train 2 nights a week at our center, plus one of my mates is a boxing trainer/fighter he comes around home once in a blue-moon and we have a slug out session just to blow the pipes out, great fun, as regard to this traditionalist vs Modern MMA thing that i see going on, both have there up sides in my eyes id class myself as a reality-based traditionalist, im not going to put anything across the class that isn't going to work self defense wise, Im also of Maori Decent so on that aspect my family has its own Martial arts system with close range hand to hand, short to mid range weaponry ,which compliments my Kempo and vise versa. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqlSZ1CQEuQ www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuQ1fCRlKC0
