How much should I worry about the weight range in my Grappling-X Tournament on Saturday? Teen divisions seem to be set up.. Horribly. The weight range in my division is from 130-150lb. I'm 5'5" 140. Does someone going in 10 pounds heavier make a big difference? I'm also a bit pissed off about the skill separation it goes from 0-18 months of training. Adults are 0-9 months. I'm only 8 months into training.

It sounds like its your first tournament. In that case don't worry about it. Nobody should go into their first tournament expecting to take home the gold. Use it as a learning experience so that you know what to expect next time. For the most part 10 pounds won't make a difference. Regardless its still best to come in at the top of your weight class, so aim for that next time.
