The forum has a lot of influence that could easily be seen as ripping off Bullshido and Sherdog. Then again, it's already been admitted that that's pretty much was done. I see no issue with this for now since we are just starting this forum, but in the future we should be looking for ways to make this forum unique.
That said, there's one thing in particular that I think we SHOULD rip off of Bullshido.net: The STYLE FIELD! Users can update the styles they train in and it shows under their name on the forums there. That would help greatly here as well, as we'd be able to tell what perspective somebody has when they're posting. Seriously, it's not easy to keep track of everybody's experience, so I think it would be helpful.

Good idea. I'll work on that next.

I wonder how that would work when so many have trained or currently train in multiple styles?

You can list multiple. You're free to type in the styles you train yourself over there. I list mine there as Muay Thai/9mm because I also train with pistols regularly.

Maybe we could just lists our style/s in the personal text field that appears under your avatar?
Edit: I've done it to demonstrate what I mean- under my avatar.

I thought about that youxia, but I would like to get something going, kind like how they do it at Bullshido, where it asks you when you first sign up what MA experience you have.
I'll look into it

So there isn't really an official way to do it. But if you go to modify profile, and look under personal text, just type in whatever art you do, and voila.
