Having a religion is like having a dick. It's all good to have one. It's all good to be proud of it. But nobody likes the guys who run around demanding everyone look at theirs.

Yeah, I kind of held off on the part about jamming it in other people's ears.

I was raised roman catholic, went to catholic school, etc, etc. When I was about 15 years old I lost faith, and felt a tremendous sense of relief by not believing anymore (very hard to explain). I'm agnostic now, I only believe what my senses tell me, but I admire people who follow their beliefs. People use religion as an excuse to start conflict, even wars, and I hate that, spirituality has become a huge business empire, yet I believe that religion serves a social purpose, by dictating what's right or wrong to those people who cannot tell the difference. Some people with no conscience, or morals avoid doing bad things because of fear of an almighty deity. OK, enough ranting on my part

I was raised roman catholic (not to the extent of frank) and now I'm not sure if I'm an agnostic-atheist or an atheist-agnostic or both with abrahamic and eastern religous influences it's complicated lol
I feel whatever you believe in is your own religion and spirituality is a very personal thing that's almost impossible to replicate in another person which can be readily seen in all the different branch offs of Christianity who despite all being Christians are different in one way or another.
I've studied religion for a few years and at one point it became the reason I changed my religion because it just doesn't make sense no matter how I look at but it's made good material so far for my comics lol

AC/DC, having a downer want motivation put some good music on! keeping it simple and feeling enlightened. but if anyone whats to feel good about themselves just tithe me 10% of your income and il make sure its put to good use. Actually i did go to a couple of churches about 15yrs ago, didn't last to long 1st church said i had demons associated with martial arts attached to me, which kind of freaked me out because they didn't know me, them they wanted to pray for me with a group of other people that where falling over all over the bloody place when the boss touched them on the head, then he tried to do it to me......nothing not a thing, felt really out of place so i just walked out and the 2nd church said the same thing and that i couldn't serve two master's, so i just walked out again, actually thought is there more to this or do they ring each other and say to each other "hey i had so & so come in today", who know's? yeah there is some thing out there, but happy doing martial arts for now.

I was raised by religious people, but then I started to get into science. It went completely downhill from there, lol. I know loads of people say that religion and science can work with each other but I personally think they're on completely opposite sides of the spectrum. Religion is built on faith, whereas science is built on unraveling the mysteries of the world instead of just accepting them as they are. I for one would rather throw my lot in with science, because science is undeniably more beneficial to humanity and in my opinion a lot more interesting.
