Hey there. Well I've always wanted to do amateur boxing and compete, but I never was able to! I'm finally going to pursue my goal! I've not done boxing before, so I need to get a solid foundation, and find a good place to train, with coaches who can help me on offense and defense. I recently was browsing the web and came across Jesse James Leija's boxing gym in San Antonio, and it seems really good, but I unfortunately cannot bust out the dough for that at the moment. I found this website of another boxing gym which happens to currently be more affordable for me. Of course I'll check out the gym as well, but I'd just like your perspective from the site itself as to what you think of the gym and if you think it'd be a good place for me to invest my time and money considering my goals. Here's the link: www.castilloboxing.com/And here's a youtube video I found of two guys from the gym sparring (one with black gloves is a pro, and the others an amateur): Thanks for your feedback in advance!

They've got coaches with records, they've got a ring, they've got good training equipment, they spar, and their prices look fantastic. I'd say go for it and see how YOU like the gym after trying it out. At $35 for a month, there's practically no reason NOT to try it out for a month and get a feel for it. I used to pay 90 a month for Boxing before the gym I was training in closed down.

I am thinking the same thing, and I am so excited to go check it out and begin boxing. And it really does seem to be a great price. I'm sorry to hear that the gym you were training at closed down, but I hope that you have found another place to compensate

Good pricing, looks like a good gym with good gear and good sparring partners. Why on earth wouldn't you go check it out?
