So I'm sure some of you checked out Metamoris II, the Schaub/Abreu fight. Schaub basically ran away from Abreu's tornado guard, because Abreu specializes in it, and Schaub respected what he could do with it. In this video Abreu basically breaks down what the tornado guard is. I don't know about you, but I'm going to start incorporating this into my game.

Hahaha honestly that vid was the first thing I checked up right after watching that metamoris fight haha. I've been working this a looot lately. Maybe too much, while in randori people already know that I'm purposely going for that half guard and grab.
I've been finding myself use a lot of deep Half guard after doing this a lot. People plant and deep half is wide open.
