I was answering a question on YA earlier that asked what the best way to improve punching speed. I've been looking for better ways to improve punching speed as well as I've yet to find a really good way.
So what do you guys do to improve your punching speed?

An excercise called the 'Mad Minute' one minute in which you punch the bag as hard as you can and as fast as you can. If the bag-holder doesn't feel the punch it doesn't count and he or she doesn't add it to the tally, mostly because he or she didn't feel it to trigger the click. My best so far is just shy of 250 punches in a minute.

Check out Wing Chun chain punches......very fast.
The guy who has the Guiness world record for most punches in a minute is a Wing Chun guy

Yeah I heard about that, due take into mind though that Wing Chun chain punches do function differently then a jab, cross you'd see more commonly. When I say function differently, I'm referring to hand positions and the vertical positioning of the fist.
Also, I was referring more to quick strikes not really in rapid succession though I suppose they could go hand in hand as they are both exercising the same muscles.
