Without getting into the details because this is the Philosophy and not the "Personal Problem" section, i am looking forward to integrate a part of the Martial Arts,Zen and Buddhism phisolophy more into my life. I had this crazy idea to create "my own Bushido". I was wondering if you could help me by telling where to start and maybe share your wisdom or philosophical point of view in life.Do you have a code, what is it?
Also it would be really appreciated if you could suggest me some books or other links to anything else to read, realated to the different way of living of a warrior and not only.
Books like : Gichin Funakoshi - Karate-do my way of living
Hagakure The Art of War....
You opinions are all welcome, and in top of all ,thank you for your time and attention.

Bushido is a fascinating subject. I love it so much I had the Bushido code tattooed on my arms. Anyways, instead of trying to create you're own Bushido code, why not stick with it, as it's taught, but modernize it? The Bushido code is an Eastern, feudal philosophy. Make it your 'own' by westernizing it and make it more contemporary. We simply cannot classify ourselves as Samurai, it was a feudal class of warriors, that no longer exist. But we can consider ourselves in a sense, 'modern samurai' by carrying on the ways of Bushido.
To help you, I suggest looking into the works of Inazo Nitobe. He helped translate much of concepts of Bushido into English. He's helped offer it through a western lens.

The fist time i heard the name Bushido, was from a German rapper who decided to name himself after the Samurai-Codex.After then i started to look out for more information and i must say that every time that i read it ,I feel really calm and in peace. I think you are right, it would be a better idea to modernize it, in this way i know where to start and i have almost everything i need, thank you for naming inazo nitobe, seems like a good source for more information!
