Rest, ice it, and take aspirin, if the problem persists go to a doctor.
There is a proverb that goes: "do nothing today so you can do something tomorrow"
Take a break, and if you must, work other muscles.

I would rest at least a day or two, just to make sure. If the muscle hasn't fully healed, you won't have the benefit of a workout next time you train.
I hope you recover quickly!

No, he means until it heals. The way muscle building works is you lift a heavy weight, it tears your muscles, in whatever part of your body. Thats why your sore the next day. But you take protein supplements, usually immediately afterwards, because the healing process starts usually within 30 minutes to an hour. Your body then uses that protein and rebuilds your muscles, to be bigger and stronger. Thats how you build muscle essentially.
But a problem alot of guys run into is, that they tear the muscle, and don't give it proper time to heal, because they'll want to get back to the gym and keep lifting. But then nothing really happens, you just keep re-tearing the muscle over and over again. So thats why its important to give it time to heal.
