As a guy with a political science degree, I feel like this all the time lol. What pisses me off, are that often times people aren't voting for the party or candidate that would benefit or advance their socio-economic position. They vote off of stupid ideological principles and rhetoric, and its very frustrating, because thats how they and their families have always voted or they are just too stupid to become better informed.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not a political genius, but I also feel that I know enough to vote responsibly. That said, not every part of my ballad gets filled out. I mean, FFS, they have local school board officials listed on our ballads. I don't know anything about the 8 different people that want to be head of the school board at the local grade school!

I guess I'm late on this one.
Obama has proven to me that he will change and shift to any position in order too get reelected. He is just a politician like all others. He first run was built on change not doing things like most politicians taking under the table deals and being influenced by lobbyist. Yet he put people on his cabinet and made financial advisers out of people that bankrupted Fannie Mae and the federal Reserve Banks and were fired because of their poor decision making. These things aren't talked about.
On the other hand you have Romney. Unlike Keyboard I don't have a problem with him being a bully as a child. Hopefully he matured since then. But I do agree there is not reason to vote for him unless you are part of the 1%'s. He is out of touch with the majority of America.
I don't blame Obama for not getting some thing done. He had a very difficult time attempting to get bipartisan cooperation. Republican said that they were going to do everything they could to oppose him to keep him from winning again. They did what they said, but it didn't work. No Obama has won again and petitions have been filed in all 50 stated asking if they can be removed from the United States.
