I like using the teep with a few variations based on position orientation with my opponent, but they are, for me, primarily for striking in the ball joint of the hips. There's some great nerve bundles and arteries which affect the entire leg of whatever joint is struck. Generally, I will hit it with the heel. I also use fariations for attacking the middle top and inside of the thighs depending on positioning, and around the top of the knees at the head of the quadriceps. Haha for the real thrusting kicks, we used to call them ogre kicks, and I aim just below center mass, and kick with the whole of the foot.
