Alright guys, you all know me as Keyboard Warrior. I've been training in martial arts for most of my life. I did Chinese Kenpo from when I was 6 to about 15. I quit martial arts for a while, and then I discovered MMA. I loved it, but I loved BJJ more. So I've been practicing both ever since.
A little about me, I'm a senior in college, getting ready to graduate with a degree in Political Science and Criminology. I'm looking into Law school right now and perhaps the Army as well.
Anything else you wanna know, well tough shit.

You all know me as Cheetah. I've been actively involved in TKD for just over 9 years and I'm currently a 2nd Dan. I've only been involved with 2 dojangs in my life, one in NM and one in CO. Both are very good with no 10 year old blackbelts and no McDojang crap. That's why I get somewhat defensive when people stereotype TKD because I have no knowledge of those types of schools. My dojang is a combo WTF/ITF dojang, so we take the best of both and ignore the worst of both.
I have 2 kids, both of whom are involved in TKD, but not of BB age so they're pretty darn good colored belts. I've also been training in Hapkido for about 5 years off and on and I play around a couple times a month with Judo and BJJ, as a friend of mine runs this school.
Those of you who've read my posts know I'm pretty big on mutual respect so I enjoy good, thought provoking, respectful debate but you'll not see me in the "war room" calling names. Just not what I'm about, plus I'm too old for that kind of crap.

Some of you might know me as K_JKD from Yahoo answers but they said I couldn't have that name so I'm samuraichef here lol
I wrestled from 1997 in elementary school until I graduated high school and now I'm currently doing catch wrestling & bjj.
I love grappling and entered ton's of tournaments from other styles in off season which led me to getting my jr blue belt in judo.
I got my assistant instructor level one last year in jeet kune do & jun fan gung fu and trained it since 2000 until now.
I have done a bit of everything to some extent or another since I moved across the country having to pick up at new schools every time which sucked then but now I see as a blessing.
I'm here to learn about martial arts & keep the trolls out and if you want to know more about me then just ask and if I like you I'll tell you.

Samuraichef is a way better name than K_JKD anyway.
I'm from Y!A as well, also on countless other forums. I train in Muay Thai with a Kru from Thailand who will remain anonymous, but who fought over 100 times professionally and trained and cornered a K1 Champion. That said, I am not a K1 fighter, or even professional. But I do know my Muay Thai.
I also have experience in Judo, but no dan rank, and 6 years of experience in Chinese martial arts including Northern Long Fist training and Wing Chun.
Other on/off experience from the past includes ATA Taekwondo (yuck, I know), Shin-Shin Toitsu Aikido, No Gi Jiu-Jitsu/MMA, Boxing, and Shooto (Muay Thai/Catch).

I'm Q-man from YA!. I train in a reputable Taekwon-do dojang in Ireland. I came to martial arts late in life(28). I'm 33 now. I like to give my two cents every now and again even though technically I'm a bit of a newbie. I'm here to learn and listen to others opinions.

Hello, most of you might know me as "MA Ray" from Yahoo Answers. I train in both traditional and modern martial arts including Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai. I am 26 years old and have been training in martial arts since I was 7 years old. Even though I technically have 19 years of experience in martial arts, I didn't start training seriously until I was 11. I first started training in a karate style from age 7 to 11. I didn't even know what style of karate but like I said, I wasn't even training seriously. I didn't enjoy it and quit. Then from age 11 to current times, I have been training in Taekwondo. Also, from age 13 to current times, I have been training in BJJ and Muay Thai. Besides my love and passion for martial arts and combat sports, I love playing around with computers, whether it is video editing and visual effects or blasting video games from my laptop to my TV. Other hobbies of mine include football and basketball. I'm not going to post my personal life on here, but if you have any questions, comments, intelligent debates, etc. feel free to send me a personal message.

Hello all, Like others I come from Y/A. I'm known as jwbulldogs. I got that name many years ago when I decided to teach myself how to build a website. I came up with a theme. I was breeding American Bulldogs. My initials are jw. I no longer breed amercan bulldogs but still love the breed. I just happen to find one I liked even more the Presa Canario. But so many people knew me as jwbulldogs so I kept the name. I've love martial arts every since I can remember. I've trained in judo, shorin ryu, jujitsu and even some aikido more recently. I had some training in muay thai, kali, bjj qijong, tkd, boxing, and I don't remember what else. Most of those were formal training with the exception of boxing. I can't count my high school wrestling for PE. I only got to participate one day because I had a broken ankle that I hurt in a judo tournament. I went on to win another fight after breaking the ankle..lol My PE teacher made sure everyone wrestle at lease twice that day. I hadn't been release for PE from my doctors. But one guy had only fought one time and there was no one else that hadn't fought twice. No one wanted to fight him. He was the biggest guy in class. My teacher look at me several times but would ask all day. Then he finally asked do I want to fight. I said YES. I dropped my crutches and limped onto the mat. I threw him and pinned him in less than a second, 2 counts and it was over. I was ready to go again. It had been a while. I needed that. My rep grew in school afterwards how me being a little guy beat the biggest strongest guy in class so easily. My judo training at work. I had a good instructor!

Hello, Most of you know me as shienaran on Y/A. I was born and raised in the southern region of Mindanao in the Philippines. My first formal martial arts training started at 16 when I took up JKD as part of our self defense class during my Citizen's Army Training. Then in college, I took up Aikido and fell in love with the art. When I moved to the capital to work after college, I was fortunate enough to meet and train in Kali under a good instructor. After almost a decade working in Manila, I resigned from my job and came back home to my hometown. Here, 2 years ago, at the age of 38, I met and started to train under a Shotokan instructor who also happened to teach Jujitsu. I only took up Jujitsu because it was part of the curriculum, since a lot of MMA fighters here train under him because of it(he's the only one besides our assistant instructor, a BJJ bluebelt, who teaches ground grappling in our city), but I have grown to like ground grappling as well. Currently at 40 years of age, I also train in boxing and Muay Thai at the local gym. Though I have competed in grappling competitions, I don't really plan to make a career as a fighter and basically just join for the fun of it. I train to keep fit and for self defense.

It's good to see you all here. I'm glad we have such a wide variety of Martial arts backgrounds. I do say that with sincerity. I think all of you have something unique to add to the board. It really wouldn't be fun to just hear from traditional guys, or MMA guys. That grows stale quickly. So again, Welcome.

Hi all. You may know me on YA's as Bandito though don't hold that against me:)
My martial arts background started with Boxing when I was around 10. Did that for about 8 years and also did Judo as well. Left both and dabbled in other styles. Now I study Jow-Ga Kung Fu and train in Sanshou and the forms equally. I love it as I can approach it as a traditional martial art and also in a modern context through the Sanshou side of it. I compete in Wushu competitions here in Sydney, Australia and am looking into competing in Sanshou competitions too. Might also do BJJ or Judo again. I am also a high school English as a Second Language teacher and am studying Mandarin as a hobby too.
